I was introduced to the fun of cake decorating by my mother. Five kids meant five birthday cakes each year and there was no shortage of inspiration or imagination in her kitchen!

After high school I was trained as a baker at a Café, renowned for their desserts in Kingston, Ontario. I also worked as an assistant for a fabulous Wedding Cake designer before I ventured off to other interests.

Recently Family weddings and my own kids’ birthday parties have renewed my love for cakes. The little hobby that started out as gifts for families and friends has grown beyond my imagination and I love every minute of it!
